Aseptic filling is a special filling process, which offers long life to the packaged product without the use of preservatives, and guarantees a highly reliable sterilization. This process is suitable for a wide range of containers (whether PET, HDPE or glass) and products such as milk, juice, tea and coffee, among others.
Caps and bottles are sterilized with Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2). Then the sterilized product is filled using nozzles that do not come into contact with the bottle at any time, avoiding any possible contamination. The caps are delivered under a constant flow of sterile air.
Other features of the process include faster product and container changeover times, reduced chemical usage and no wastewater generation. Filler operation can be performed with ease and features camera inspection systems to discard any incorrectly filled or capped bottles. The cleaning of nozzles and pipes is automated.
PET Packaging Network can offer you aseptic filling equipment ranging from 500 to 10,000 BPH. This allows companies with smaller production or focused on a very specific market niche to enter the market without excessive investments, while maintaining flexibility in terms of container types and sizes.
